As part of the intergenerational solidarity project, the 7th-grade students met with patients at Saint Louis Hospital. Jude began with a beautiful violin piece, and then the students shared cakes and played games while conversing in the languages taught at the LFJ: French, English, Arabic, and Hebrew. It was a wonderful moment of shared joy to wrap up the school year !

Thursday, June 18, 2026: The first- and fourth-grade classes took a field trip to Belvoir Fortress with our guide, Henri. The fortress is located on a hill in the northern part of the country, overlooking the Jordan Valley, and dates back to the Crusades. The program included a tour of the fortress’s various rooms (revisiting vocabulary) and a history of the fortress and the Crusades (presentations by the fourth graders). Our field trip to Beit Guvrin-Maresha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for its vast “underground cave city” that spans more than 2,000 years of history. On June 1, 2026, Ms. Roumi, Ms. Arnold, and Ms. Stuczynski organized an escape game there based on Greek and Roman mythology. On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the students in Ms. Nathalie Melloul’s second-grade class visited the Jerusalem Aquarium, accompanied by two language teachers: Ms. Hiba Khatib, the Arabic teacher, and Ms. Mira Arman, the English teacher. The guided tour was therefore conducted simultaneously in Arabic and English. Congratulations to the students for their curiosity and energy, and to the teachers.

On Thursday, June 18, 2026, the LFJ’s annual party was held at the Hôtel Notre Dame. All middle and high school students gathered there dressed in their finest evening attire. A big thank you to the CVL for organizing this memorable evening.

Below are two photos from our CM1 English and Arabic class breakfast with Ms. Najdi and Ms. Mira Arman As part of their study of the novel Matilda in their English as a Second Language class this semester, the fourth-grade students reenacted the famous scene with Bruce Bogtrotter’s cake. This activity brought their reading to life in a fun and memorable way, and the students participated with great enthusiasm.

Video created using work by 6th-grade students as part of a unit on mythological tales titled “Monsters: At the Limits of Humanity.” The assignment was to create a monster using cardboard, collage, LEGO, or other materials, photograph it, and then turn the photos into a stop-motion animation. On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, an activity was organized on the theme of "Laïcité" with all the students in the middle school. They were divided into groups of four from each class and had to solve several puzzles on this theme. Later, during their civic education class, the students filled in a cloze text with all the words they had found in the various puzzles. This text was a lengthy definition of the term "laïcité".
