Visit to El Aqsa Mosque and the Holy Sepulchre

The fifth-grade class, accompanied by Mme Kazazian, M Sidès and M Jounet, visited the unique heritage of Jerusalem's Old City. A study of the Al Aqsa mosque and the Dome of the Rock, with a view to the 5th grade history curriculum (birth and expansion of Islam) and also the mathematics curriculum (study of axial and central symmetry, here observed in Islamic architecture and art).

The morning continued with a visit to the Holy Sepulchre.
